We worked with Lewes District Council to deliver a two day beer and music festival at Newhaven Fort
Working in partnership with the Arts and Tourism team at Lewes District Council and Visit Lewes, we co-ordinated ‘Brewhaven’, a celebration of local breweries and industry. With a capacity of 600 people for each of three sessions, the event hosted around 20 independent brewers and producers, alongside a brilliant line-up of musicians and bands, street food and children’s activities.
Whilst Lewes District Council sourced the exhibitors and traders, we created a comprehensive event management plan, handled the paperwork, health and safety, entertainment booking, event infrastructure and liaison with all stakeholders (including the chosen exhibitors). Working within Newhaven Fort, a sensitive heritage site with limited vehicle access, we ensured that the event ran without a hitch – including little but important details such as temporary event WiFi, management of traffic into the site, carefully planned lighting and much more.
