Covid-19 Update

What strange times we find ourselves in.  We hope this message finds you safe and well – as the current situation with Covid-19 is causing unprecedented challenges not just across the live events industry but in every aspect of our day-to-day lives. At this trying time, we stand in solidarity with the scores of other event companies, promoters, musicians, suppliers and everyone else in this wonderful industry who are waiting to see what the future holds.

Here at LYT Productions we’re continuing to work behind the scenes (remotely, of course!) on plans for 2020, although you won’t be surprised to learn that many of the events we were looking forward to have either been cancelled or postponed. This is a shame for everyone involved, not least the event organisers who have already put in months of hard work, but the health of crew and guests will always come first.

We’re continuing to work closely with the organisers of any events that have been cancelled or postponed to support them in any way we can and are looking forward to being a part of some incredible events later in the year. Bring on long summer evenings and festival fields!

Our annual ‘Midsummer Madness’ event with Tongue and Groove at Pells Pool is one of many to have been postponed, but we’re excited to let all you groovers know we have a new date lined up – get Saturday 8^th August in your diary! We’ll be releasing tickets nearer the date once we’re sure the situation has settled down enough for us to go ahead. Make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Instagram to be the first to know when tickets go on sale.

Our social media channels also remain the best way to keep up to date with what we’re up too – we’ll keep you posted over the coming weeks and months as we know more about which events will be going ahead. We also have a VERY exciting, top-secret project in the pipeline – so watch this space! 👀
